Format Description:
Number of competitors: The number of competitors will be limited to fifteen. Admittance will be based on the highest score at the 2013 I.W.S.F. ranking list. Two wild cards will be awarded prior to the event.
Towboat: To be announced.
Rounds of competition: There will be three rounds of competition: one qualification-round with fifteen + 2 wild cards athletes, the semi-finals with ten athletes and the finals with the five best athletes.

Round Table 46 Schiedam in association with IWWF, Schiedam City Counsel and several sponsors, will be organizing the Dutch Masters Shortboard Schiedam on July 12, 2014 in Schiedam, the Netherlands. A tempting event in an even more tempting setting! The Dutch Masters Shortboard Schiedam will be held at the base of the tallest historic windmill in the world with the picturesque historic city centre of Schiedam (80,000 inhabitants) as a unique backdrop. Prepare for a day of spectacular shortboard skiing, combined with demos, clinics and live performances on stage.
Date: Saturday July 12, 2014 from 8am to 6pm.
Open to: The competition is open to men only.

Expected number of spectators: The expected number of spectators during the day is 25,000.
Travel and board: Travel and board is at your own expense. Special deals are available. Furthermore we can assist you arranging transport to and from the Netherlands and even expending your stay for extra training or a leisurely short-break. Food and beverage on Friday July 11 and Saturday July 12 is included. Top-notch facilities will be offered in our dedicated athlete village. Please contact us for more details
Official training: Friday July 11, 2014 from 3pm to 6 pm.
Extra training: We offer a free of charge training at a waterski facility only twenty minutes from the tournament location, at waterskiclub W.S.V Nautica. This training will be organized at a private shortboard lake between 9am and 17pm on:
