Format Description:
Preliminary Round followed by Night Jump Finals

Entry Fee: 200.00
Entry Type: Invitation
Entry deadline: September 7, 2017
Selection Criteria:
Elite skier entry eligibility: top 15 open rated women (IWWF “rolling” ranking list as of 8/1/17) are eligible to enter, providing they meet the following criteria (either option A or B). o Option A: The athlete must have participated in a state, regional, national or similar non-professional championships event in the 12 month period preceding 9/1/17 (which need not have been held in their home country). My understanding is that this would include the 2017 AWSA National Championships (or any AWSA state or regional championships), E&A Open or U21 Championships, Pan American Championships, Latin Championships, or similar tournament (we should confirm that each of these tournament was held during the relevant time frame, such that we aren’t inadvertently leaving out any tournaments because of scheduling quirks); and, The athlete must self-certify (which will not be subject to further review) that he/she has participated in a youth or “beginner skier” waterski promotional activity within the same time period, such as attending or working at a “local” tournament (such as an AWSA Class C tournament) in some capacity, participating in a clinic for such skiers, engaging in a promotional, fundraising or other effort (from which the athlete did not make a profit) to promote these skiers; or o Option B: In the event that any otherwise qualified athletes do not meet the “Option A” criteria, the two highest ranked “Option B” (no requirement beyond being on the Dynamic Ranking List) skiers per event will be eligible to enter The Isles is simultaneously holding a U23 Men/Women Jump Event. Those who choose to ski U23 are precluded from skiing in the Elite Event.
