Dear athletes

 

As you are no doubt aware the water-ski world cup has been absent to our sport. It is our dream that the skiers coming from all over the world shall meet again to compete and to provide a terrific show. Unfortunately, people often know water-ski as a leisure but not as a sport. This must change! It is a beautiful and very demanding activity that must be developed and recognised.

 

This is where "our internship program" comes from. Two students from the ESSEC MBA, the top French business school, are working full time on the project. The first one will try to find partners in America and the other one will prospect in the EAME area. Their role is, within a period of six months, to secure sponsors and to catch the attention of the media and the cities where the competitions could take place.

 

They are creating a web site to present the world cup to our potential partners and it would be a great benefit to include a brief presentation of icons of water-ski.

 

If you support this program, could you please briefly (no more than 15 lines) say why you think the World Cup is important for our sport and email it to them.
