Rainy weather not enough to stop action on Yarra River

Whilst autumn weather and the rain kicked in to Melbourne today, this was not enough to hinder the non-stop action on the Yarra River for the Australand Moomba Masters Water Ski Tournament.


Nicolas Le Foresiter (FRA) made a huge comeback after just scraping through to the semi-finals, scoring 11,540 today, ahead of Jaret Llewellyn (CAN) and Javier Julio (ARG).


American Ty Oppenlander has stamped his mark on the Men's Slalom Event, leading with a score of 2 @ 10.75 metre line, ahead of Chris Parrish (USA) and Fabio Ianni (ITA)

Curtis Sheers (AUS) is back in the lead in Men's Jump Event, again threatening the Moomba Course Record with 66.0 metres, with Jesper Cassoe (DEN) and Jason Seels (GBR) rounding out the top 3

South American Champion Javier Julio (ARG) took out the event in an exciting Men’s Overall competition. Rhoni Barton (USA) was victorious in the Women’s Overall, ahead of Regina Jaquess (USA) and Sarah Gatty Saunt (GBR)

Australand Moomba Masters Finals all afternoon tomorrow..
