The weekend of 16^th-19^th May 2003 saw Hillside Beach Club, near Fetihye, Turkey hold a Wakeboard Weekend. The weekend was a National Holiday with full occupancy and guests of Hillside were spoilt by IWSF Wakeboard Champions performing demonstrations twice daily.

Hillside Beach Club is a first class resort and was declared as one of the best 6 hotels of the Mediterranean by "The Times" London, England, and is featured in the American Express Book of World’s Best Hotel Spa’s.

Hillside has held three highly successful International Waterski and Wakeboard Competitions, and this low-key event was a further boost to the popularity of wakeboarding, but achieved even greater interest from top resort and international guests.

The following riders were on hand for coaching for hotel guests, which went down a storm – " Coaching by the Champions" - proved to be very popular and guests were inspired by riders and their professional and helpful approach.

A fully international feel was given to the demonstrations as the commentary was given in three different languages, Turkish, German and English together with pumping beach music.
